Hi Ruth,

Thanks for stopping by! Yes we can consciously tweak the energies around us to support our well being, and this applies to our homes, blogs, offices, cars etc. The Chinese call this "Feng Shui" and it's a big thing here where I live ... kinda interesting to think that we can apply Feng Shui to blogs too! :) Thanks for the book recommendation ... I took a quick peek and it does look like a good read! I'm going to check it out right after this.

Your comments are right on. Energy is so important in anything we do, and since we spend so much time writing and creating a space with our blogs, then they should be a reflection of who we are. I've been reading a great book on making your living space a reflection of your self (Create the Space You Deserve by Jill Butler) and I think the points she makes about your home can be applied to a blog as well.

Hey Tim, Adrian, always nice to see you here. :D I will try to make time for next Tuesday's session ... need to charge my batteries again! Life has been rather hectic lately, but good. Will learn to stop and smell the roses, thanks for the reminder. ;)

hi irene,
again, another great blog entry! :)

glad the meditations (with Photon Reiki) are assisting you, recharging your 'batteries'. hahaha :)
we've had others also saying the same thing: that they feel recharged after the meditations. some were healed from flu, cold, migraine, etc.

we do hope more people will join us, and enjoy the healing energies of Photon Reiki. just like you and so many others did.

we're having another meditation this coming tuesday, 22 july at 7.45pm. see you then! :)

meanwhile, enjoy your hydrotherapy home spa (wow!!!), and do take some time off to relax, smell the roses. :)

Urban Panther, your comment made me chuckle the first thing in the morning ... that has to be GOOD because I'm sooo not a morning person! I've had those days too where everything I'm really good at just suddenly turn bad for no good reason! Yup, I'm one of those who CAN screw up potatoes. ;)

You are absolutely bang on about the energy a blog exudes. But then again, I am totally a gut reaction aura and vibe type gal to begin with. However, quite often I can get 2 sentences into a blog and feel all icky. Nope, not for me! And the ones I have added to my regular reading, huge positive vibes rolling off those blogs. Interestingly, I initially thought I would reading only other humourist sites, since that is my style of writing. And there are some very funny and positive vibe humourist sites out there, but more often than not I'd get that icky feeling. There's funny, but then there is crass and mean. Now the themes in my reading list are incredibly varied, but they all have one thing in common..they all make me feel good.

Too funny you mention cooking not working out. Last night I was preparing food ahead for a dinner we are hosting tonight. Nothing worked!!! Not even my tried and true recipes. Well, maybe the potatoes, but who screws up potatoes? Oh lordy, I hope those potatoes turned out. Personally, I suspect the Urbane Lion of somehow sabotaging my efforts so that his food will shine forth..which it would anyway seeing as he is a chef in his former life..but I know that's ridiculous. He loves my cooking! Ah well, if you can't treat your friends as food guinea pigs, then whom can you?

Hi Evelyn, thanks! Yes we choose to write for different reasons, and serve the community in the way we know best. :) I remember how I "discovered" you on blogosphere - there was a particular article in your archives that just kinda hit me! Ain't it amazing how friendships are formed?

Hi Patricia, authenticity is definitely what I see and feel in your writings too, that's why I love them so much! Thank you for subscribing, and for your kind words of encouragement. :)

Hi Barbara, good to see you here! I admire the dedication you've put into your work, and the quality shines through. I will pop by your site often to check out your recommendations. There are just soooo many good blogs out there, and you seem to gather them really nicely, so that saves me some time! ;)

HI myaoo, nice to meet you and thanks for stopping by!

Hi Irene,

Thank you so much for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment. It was through that, that I found you. I love how that works. :)

I don't believe there is any ONE right way to blog. We must do what works with our schedule, our priorities. With the benefit of a RSS feed reader, whether a person posts daily or semi monthly, the reader will notify us of updates. It comes down to quality, not quantity.

Myself, I post five days a week, M-F. Although it takes a chunk out of each day, I've learned to set my priorities to accommodate it. When my 24 hours run out, then I'm done for the day. No stress, no worries. I did my best.

As I skimmed over the titles of your recent posts, I see I have more reading to do here. I'll end this and subscribe to your blog.

I'll be seeing you again soon.

Irene each of your articles that I have read so far definitely has heart and authenticity. Like you, that is what draws me to subscribing which I did here a few days ago. I have thoroughly enjoyed each article that I have read here and look forward to reading more as you write them. Writing when it feels right to you is what keeps your articles authentic. Following your heart does that too.
Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing with us.
